All prices - room rates and meals - are quoted before the imposition of Virginia's 5% sales tax. There is no hotel or restaurant tax in our location.

Our 2008 season runs from May 6 to November 11.

The Italian Room is available for Tour de Chesapeake / Preakness weekend May 16-17. We are fully booked July 4-5 and August 1-2, 2008. All other nights have some availability. Sold-out dates will be posted here throughout the season.

Rooms

Upstairs:

For advance reservations and all holiday and festival periods, the upstairs rooms are booked only as a suite.

For immediate arrival, for non-holiday Monday-Thursday nights, and for Friday-Sunday nights booked Thursday of the same week or later, a single room may be taken. On dates with great local demand (weddings as well as public festivals and holidays), when a single room is booked, it will be with the possibility of sharing the bathroom. In normal periods, we will not book the second room to an unrelated party.

The Upstairs Suite: 2 queen-bedded rooms sharing a bathroom

Monday-Thursday: $180/night for up to 4 guests

Friday-Sunday: $200/night for up to 4 guests

All nights July 8 - August 16: $180/night for up to 4 guest

Additional child, sleeping on Rose Room window seat: $30/night

The Rose Room, for one or two guests:

With private bath (the Blue Room kept vacant): $125/night

With shared bath: $100/night

Additional child, sleeping on Rose Room window seat: $30/night

The Blue Room, for one or two guests:

With private bath (the Rose Room kept vacant): $100/night

With shared bath: $80/night

Ground floor:

The Italian Room: king bed, private bathroom

$135 the first night, for one or two adults

$125 for additional nights

An additional guest is not possible in this room

 

Extra Meals

Dinner: average price $30 - $40 per person, but depends upon the menu, which we will agree upon together. Email your inquiry, or phone.

Scandinavian lunch: $25 per person, BYOB.

Afternoon tea: $16 per person.

Gift Certificates

We honor gift certificates issued by the Bed and Breakfast Association of Virginia.

We also issue our own gift certificates. A wonderful present for friends, family, or colleagues! You may purchase a gift certificate to cover the full and exact cost of one or more room nights or meal packages, or may purchase gift certificates in $50 increments. Our gift certificates are valid through the following calendar year's season and are transferable (through us only, please, to ensure the authenticity of the certificate). We will notify the recipient by post and email or as you prefer, with an attractive card showing a few photos of the property.
