The Rose Room

The Rose Room is the most romantic room, in soft garden colors: blush rose walls, soft carpeting in pale moss green, and rose print fabrics.

The wonderful queen platform bed has a "Comfort Sleep System" seven-inch-thick foam mattress, excellent foam pillows, and homemade tied quilts.

This room's main feature is its marvelous window seat, the depth of a twin mattress. Truly comfortable and roomy enough for two to snuggle. Down pillows and a down throw add to the coziness. This is a perfect spot for hours of reading, daydreaming or dozing off. The window seat can also serve as a bed for a young child.

There is a bentwood rocker which is is a comfortable reading chair as well, lightweight to move where you please. A wicker love seat and wicker table complete the furnishings.

The bedsides and window seat have 3-way "touch" wall lamps so you can easily choose bright reading light or romantic soft light. The carpet is soft for barefoot comfort.

The artwork in this room has a garden theme.

Although this is the perfect room for book lovers, there is a cable tv (with earphones available!).

This is a good room for a "morning person" as the east window over the bed gets the early morning light. This window looks towards the row of fine old magnolias opposite the main entry. The window seat overlooks the fencewall of ivy, jasmine and roses, as well as the magnolias and outbuildings.
